Episode 1 [v1.0] Release Details

Today TaH: Episode 1 [v1.0] was released on Patreon. This update finalizes the episode with 30k words, 900 images, game audio, some new content, and updated images & dialogue. For those that have played a previous version (the last one being v0.36), you will notice a lot of improvements to where it may almost feel like a new game.

At the time of this post it's only available on Patreon. On Feb. 6th it will be updated here on Itch as well. However, the demo version is already available on Itch where you can play in your web browser or download for PC/Linux or Mac.

So what's next? Work on Episode 2 is already underway and I'm targeting a Spring 2023 release.

Thank you all for your support and I hope you enjoy v1.0!

Not impressed... I paid for the full version but there is still none of the bonuses in the full version! I feel like claiming my money back from PayPal!!! Not happy Jan...

What is available here on Itch is the complete Episode 1. You appear to be upset about Bonus Content which is explained under the Patreon Section. "Bonus Content was created as an exclusive add-on perk for Patreon members." In other words: it was made for Patrons who wish to have something extra for supporting the project at a higher tier/cost. It is nothing that's required to play or understand the story.

Ah... so you'd rather force users to pay ANOTHER fee for Patreon only content... dick move dude... forget it!

I do not force anyone to pay anything; I am not the tax man. Patreon is the primary support site for this product and offers multiple subscription tiers with optional extras. The main game will always be the main game. Anything beyond that is additional work to create and not everyone has been interested in it; therefore it's available separately in higher tiers. This is explained on the game page information as stated previously. I'm sorry if you don't understand, but not everyone is entitled to free extra work.

EDIT: Additionally, if the problem you actually have is that you don't wish to pay extra on Patreon because you already purchased the game here, I'd be happy to work out a solution. But if you only wish to complain to me then I'm afraid there's nothing else I can do to help.

That's an interesting take on someone who decides to pay $3 for the official version... "I'm trying to get something for free" - even though I paid for it!! LOL!!!! Aside from all that, all I was looking for was the version with the Bonus as the alternative side stories - even though NOT part of the main story - are of interest to me. I dont mind NTR so seeing LI's with other NPC's is no problem for me. I honestly didn't notice that the itch.io version wasn't the same version as the one on Patreon until you pointed it out... that's why I was a little miffed by it. Every other game I support tthrough itch.io offers exactly the same version that is offered on Patreon. Hence the reason I expected - incorrectly - that paying for an official download, I would get the same deal. Even though I have an account at Patreon, I prefer not to support via them if possible. When I noticed that I could pay via itch.io, I was more than happy to do but I'm happy to pay another $3 if you are able to send a link with the Bonus files to me - then I can merge them with the official non-Patreon version I already have. Cheers, riddikk91.

In case you haven't seen it, an email was sent to you that can hopefully bring this to a close. Thank you.
